- 2 pork chops
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 apple, peeled and cut into slices
- 1 peach, peeled and cut into slices
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
Season pork chops with plenty of salt and pepper on both sides
Add olive oil to skillet. Turn up to medium high heat. When skillet is hot, add pork chops. Once cooked all the way through, remove and set aside on plate to rest.
Add 1/2 cup water, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon to the warm skillet. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Add apple and peach slices. Stir to cover slices in syrup. Reduce heat to medium and simmer until tender.
Place apple and peach slices onto pork chops. Pour syrup on and serve.
